Forklift Safety — Vehicle-to-Vehicle

V2V Collision Avoidance System

Vehicle-to-vehicle collision avoidance with UWB ranging. 360° coverage, configurable zones, auto-braking. Choose V2V-CAS for alerts or V2V-CACS for automated braking control.

The Problem

Blind spot crashes occur when equipment intersections have limited visibility. Multiple MHE in confined spaces, low-light operations, and high-speed movements create dangerous collisions.

  • Blind Spot Crashes — Equipment intersections with limited visibility cause severe collisions between vehicles unable to see each other.
  • Multiple MHE in Confined Space — Narrow aisles, intersections, and confined areas with multiple equipment create collision hazards.
  • Low-Light & Night Shift Hazards — Night operations, poor lighting, and adverse weather conditions amplify collision risk exponentially.
  • Insufficient Reaction Time — Operator response delay is too slow to prevent high-speed collisions without active intervention.

How It Works

01

Sense Vehicle Position

Four high-precision UWB ranging sensors on each vehicle detect nearby equipment continuously with omnidirectional coverage.

02

Range & Calculate Distance

V2V wireless communication exchanges position data; DPU calculates relative distance and closing speed in real-time.

03

Alert or Brake

V2V-CAS triggers audio/visual alerts; V2V-CACS applies automatic braking and speed reduction for active collision prevention.

04

Log Event Data

All proximity events and control actions are recorded for safety analysis and compliance reporting across your fleet.

Key Features

360° Coverage

Four high-precision ranging sensors provide complete omnidirectional collision detection around the vehicle.

Zone Mapping

Configurable detection zones with different alert/control thresholds for operational safety flexibility.

Dual Models

V2V-CAS (alert-only) or V2V-CACS (auto-brake) systems based on your safety requirements and operational needs.

0.2-30m Range

Detects approaching vehicles from near-field to 30 meters for advanced warning and rapid response capability.

Auto-Brake CACS

Automatic braking and low-speed mode for V2V-CACS prevents high-speed collisions in critical situations.

Works in Harsh Environments

Proven operation in mining, ports, construction with extreme conditions and guaranteed high reliability.
